This means that the specifications of products in terms of materials, colours and designs differ significantly from customer to customer.

Providing a safe and homely environment during term time is top of the agenda for Independent Boarding Schools. There are various options of bedding available from plain dyed or printed linen in either flame retardant or poly cotton. This enables the housekeeping team to choose a colour to differentiate between each dormitory which makes the laundering process a little easier. Extra-long bunk and single size fitted sheets are available upon request.
Managing budgets as well as student requirements may mean fully assembled bedding packs are required, or carton quantities of product are provided for distribution by the housekeepers. To compliment the bedroom design or colour scheme, we have a variety of colours and unisex prints available from stock but if looking for something more unique, we offer a bespoke design service.
Ordinarily a more premium product is desired to meet the overall expectation of the end user in line with the wider experience. Often satin stripe linen is a preferred choice due to the more upmarket look which is often utilised in hotel and other hospitality settings.
From mattress protectors to extend the lifespan of the mattress assets, to shower curtains which are refreshed, and a wider range across bedding and bathroom textiles, we can provide large volumes across a number of geographical locations across the length and breadth of the country.
At times of wear and tear on a small scale, through to wide scale refurbishment projects, we are able to offer window coverings be it through your choice of blinds and/or curtains. We are able to provide options that compliment the colour or design of the bed linen so that it has a seamless look and feel.
From the bedroom to the kitchen and dining areas, we can also provide kitchen sets which can include everything from cutlery and pans, through to utensils. Generally, these are put together to order so it is easy to choose what you would like to include in the sets.
We hold large volumes of a 9 piece dining set and can also make alterations where necessary. Finally, household and cleaning related items can also be provided- you pick and we will pack accordingly!
Curtains and blinds across education settings are required to be compliant to BS 5867 Part 2 Type B or C. We are able to guide on our range and ensure that the legislation is being fully met for the setting. It is up to the setting whether the bedding items should be fire retardant.
Factors to consider are the ages of the users and the likeliness of products such as lighters or matches being used in the area around the bedding. Specifically, it is fairly common for boarding schools where children reside to utilise fire retardant items. We would ensure these are appropriate to the right levels as we have products for different risk profiles – boarding schools would be classed as low risk.
